Y dio a luz a su hijo primogénito, y lo envolvió en pañales, y lo acostó en un pesebre, porque no había lugar para ellos en el mesón. Lucas 2:7
Era el momento más importante de sus vidas, el tiempo donde estos padres primerizos asumían su mayor responsabilidad. Sus sueños les guiaban en la ruta a seguir mientras confiados se preparaban para el gran acontecimiento.
Albergaban en sus corazones promesas, aspiraciones y una visión de futuro que los motivaba a caminar, luchar y trabajar arduamente. Ese día; el día más importante de su vida, todas las puertas que tocaban se cerraban frente a ellos sin ofrecer alternativas o esperanza. Mesón tras mesón se hacía más evidente la triste realidad circunstancial del momento, en el cual no se ofrecía un espacio para proveer descanso y seguridad a esta joven familia. Días como estos nos han tocado a todos. Nos lanzamos a la aventura con una canasta de sueños, cargando en nuestro interior aspiraciones y promesas que anhelamos ver y experimentar mientras transitamos este camino al que llamamos vida. En medio de nuestra jornada buscamos espacio en el mesón de la felicidad solo para darnos cuenta que otras personas lo han copado. Tocamos a la puerta del mesón de la paz y descubrimos que el espacio es limitado. Nos acercamos al mesón de la abundancia y no hay cabida para nosotros. Salimos en busca de un mesón y la vida nos ha ofrecido un pesebre. La pareja de esta historia, José y María experimentaron en carne propia lo que muchos de nosotros hemos experimentado; ellos también iban en busca de un mesón pero la vida les ofrecía un pesebre. Hoy miles de años después decoramos nuestras casas y árboles de navidad con este escenario. ¿Qué lo hace tan significativo? Si observamos con detenimiento, veremos que ningún mesón de Jerusalén contaba con una estrella que lo iluminara y un coro de ángeles cantando en vivo. Sí, la gran diferencia es y seguirá siendo, Jesús. Jesús, estaba en el pesebre y eso cambió por completo el escenario. Tal vez hoy, tú también estés enfrentando una situación difícil y el camino se torna oscuro. Observa bien y enfócate en Jesús, pronto la luz de la estrella alumbrará tu camino y el coro de ángeles arrullará tu sueño. La paz no es el resultado de la ausencia de conflictos o problemas; es mas bien su presencia en medio del conflicto lo que nos da paz. En esta navidad asegúrate que Jesús está en tu vida, él transforma cualquier escenario.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them at the Inn. Luke 2:7
It was the most important time of their lives, the time where the first time parents would assume their biggest responsibility. Guided by their dreams through the path to follow they were trustingly preparing for a great forthcoming. They sheltered in their hearts promises, aspirations and a vision of the future that would motivate them to walk, strive and work arduously. On that day the most important day of their life, all doors were closing in front of them without offering any alternatives or hope. Inn after Inn it was more obvious the sad circumstantial reality of that moment that did not offer a space to provide rest and security to this young family. Days like these have touched many of us. We launch to an adventure with a basket of dreams, carrying inside aspirations and promises that we long to see and experience while we transit this road that we call life. In the middle of our journey we seek space in the Inn of happiness only to realize that other people have cornered it. We knock at the door of peace and discover that the space is limited. We get close to the Inn of abundance and there is no occupancy for us. We search for the Inn and life has offered us a manger. The couple in this story, Joseph and Mary lived thought the same situation that most of us have experienced; they were searching for an Inn but life offered them a manger. Today thousands of years after we decorate our homes and Christmas trees with this scene, what makes it so significant? If we look closely, we can see that no Inn in Jerusalem had a star that would illuminate it or a choir of angels singing live. The big difference was Jesus. Jesus was in the manger and that was what changed the scene. Maybe today you are facing a difficult situation and your road is turning dark. Observe and focus on Jesus and soon the light of the star will illuminate your path and a choir of angels will lull your dreams. Peace is not the result of the lack of conflicts or problems but the His presence in the middle of the conflict what gives us peace. This Christmas make sure that Jesus is in your life, He can transform any scenario.
